This course is suitable for students who have a little experience in floristry. This is an assessed course covering all aspects of floristry, including numerous types of arrangements and displays for seasonal occasions, weddings and funerals., , By the end of the course you will have covered the basic design skills and processes which are needed to produce, develop and present creative ideas. You will produce a portfolio of evidence during the course. There is no final exam. The qualification will be awarded after assessment of your completed portfolio by internal and external verifiers. You will be required to meet deadlines at various stages throughout the course, as your work will be assessed at several points., , This course is for beginners or those with a little prior experience of floristry who would like to gain a qualification in Floristry. It is advisable to have attended a beginners course in Floristry.

Entry requirements

You will need a pen and notebook and an A4 lever arch folder for your assessed project work., , The tutor will inform you as to which flowers and other materials will be needed on a weekly basis and you will need to bring in these materials to undertake the course. It is anticipated that the flowers will cost £15 - £20 per session (depending on the flowers required for an arrangement).
