The course is intended as a follow on to the SLR Foundation in Photography courses. It will add further essential image editing skills relating to re-touching, montaging, and correcting images from your SLR camera, such as converting to Black and White, colour management of the montior and computer, adjustment of tonal values and colour balance of images through Photoshop, RAW file adjustments and conversions, image retouching using Clone Stamp and Healing Brush tools, High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography, and use of Layers and Adjustment Layers in Photoshop Elements., , By the end of the course you should be able to :-, Process a RAW file using Photoshop Elements, Convert a colour digital image into a Black and white, Retouch images using Clone Stamp and Healing Brush, Create an HDR image from 3 bracketed images, Critique photos by analysiing the aesthetic and technical success and failure within a photo., , , The course is aimed at those who have attended the SLR Foundation in Photography course, or those photographers who understand the essential functions of their SLR Cameras, having limited experience in photography, but seriously want to learn how to use technically creative skills to improve or change their images after taking them, to get the image they wanted. , It is ideal for those who want to become more creative or technically competent with their photography editing skills., Some experience of photography and software similar to Photoshop Elements is needed.,
