This 'Start Computing' course in Maidstone will introduce some of the main uses of the computer, for example, typing documents and searching the Internet. You will learn about the parts of the computer as well as saving and editing files. , , Computing terminology and safety and security terminology will be explained in simple terms. , , By the end of the course, you will understand the basics of using a computer and will be able to carry out simple tasks. This course is for anyone who has completed Absolute Beginners or other taster IT courses, or those wishing to build their confidence and learn new skills.

You will ideally have access to a computer in order to practice outside class time (at home, at work or at the library).
