This 'Creative Writing for All' course in Maidstone is designed to provide students with an opportunity to write creatively in a range of genres, and to share their work with other writers in a safe and supportive environment. Using a wide variety of resources to inspire and stimulate writing, the course will enable students to explore different narrative techniques, styles and tones, and engage actively in the process of recording thoughts, ideas and information in writing. , , By the end of this course, students will have:, , • Engaged actively in the writing process, • Created believable characters and plots in a range of fictional genres, • Explored some aspect of poetic form or technique, • Used writing as a form of recording, reporting and/or reflecting information, , Students should also be able to constructively evaluate their own and others' work., , Similar courses are available each term, but the content does not repeat; each term's course is distinct and separate. Each course involves reading and note taking, but also provides copious opportunities to write creatively, imaginatively and informatively. This course in Maidstone is for beginners and people with some experience of creative writing who wish to develop their skills and build techniques to improve the clarity and effectiveness of their writing. Beginners will be given additional support if required.
