Drawing and Painting - Improvers

This courses offers the opportunity to develop your drawing and painting skills further, to unpick the techniques used in some of the great pieces and use this on individual projects to great effect. Throughout the sessions you will learn new skills, develop existing ones and work with an array of subject matter to explore your own style., , During the course, students will be able:, To improve on a range of drawing techniques, To develop painting skills and styles of application, To explore new and revisit different subject matter, To reference Historical and Contemporary Artists where appropriate, Improvers and those with experience, or students who have completed a beginners course and wish to develop their skills further.

Entry requirements

If you are a new student and have no materials please wait for your tutor's advice on what to buy. However, all students should bring an A4 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper, preferably with a hard cover and ring bound and a variety of pencils.You will need to provide your own materials and these will vary in cost according to the course requirements. Some of our centres have their own 'shops' where you are able to buy things at competitive prices.If you have any materials/equipment that might be appropriate please bring them with you.
