This course aims to teach you to move beyond the automatic settings on your SLR camera and learn to compose and take good photographs using manual settings. The course is structured to form a firm basis for understanding the skills and techniques associated with designing and taking good, interesting and exciting photographs in a variety of contexts, and developing the knowledge to critique your own work effectively. There will be individual and group tuition and discussion Where possible location work will be done. Please note that as well Thursday evening classes this course includes some Saturday morning location shoots. NB There will be no darkroom work on this course.
