Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise. Progress is slow to allow students to experience awareness of both body and mind as they exercise, this can often leave you feeling calm and relaxed. This Beginners course in Broadstairs focuses on different Qigong exercises as well as the Tai Chi short form., , At the end of the course students should: Feel a little more familiar with the philosophy and terminology of Tai Chi; Be able to demonstrate the first part of the form by following the tutor; Be able to demonstrate 2-3 Shibashi exercises; Be able to demonstrate and explain one Tai Chi relaxation method., , , The course is suitable for people who are totally new to Tai Chi or with little experience. , People of all ages can do this course. People with varied health problems, such as joint/bone problems, stress etc' are welcome., Please note: Most exercises are performed standing up and moving around.
