Digital Photography - Managing Your Images

This brilliant 4 week course is a must for anyone who has digital images that need rescuing! We’ll show you how easy it can be to remove ‘red eye’, dust and scratches from scans and even crop out that thumb in the corner of what should have been a perfect photo! Once you’ve got the clean image you want we’ll also look at colour enhancement, contrast and brightness, converting images to black and white and other effects that can enhance your images. Please note: This course is NOT about photography technique. Learners must be: • Experienced in using a computer keyboard and mouse At the end of the course learners will be able to: • Create folder structures to organise images • Remove ‘red eye’ from images • Clean dust and scratches from images using a ‘clone’ or ‘heal’ tool • Adjust the colours, brightness and contrast of an image • Rotate and straighten an image • Resize an image or crop it to remove unwanted material
