This course is a good confidence builder for people who may not have carried out administration work before and to become confident in Word Processing skills needed for an administrative office job. You will gain the OCR Award in Text Processing (Business Professional) as part of the course. You will carry out work in our `Real Office Environment' and be encouraged to complete a work placement. You will also visit a number of business institutions to gain an understanding of business environments, such as The Royal Mail, BBC Radio Stoke, Trinity Mirror Newspapers, Cadbury's and Alton Towers.
