The RHS qualifications are highly respected within the industry and the academic world. This course provides a broad grounding in horticulture with a wide range of theoretical knowledge. The qualification can provide a route into the horticultural profession, they can support career development for those already working in the field of horticulture or they can provide a foundation for further learning or training. The course is delivered at our campus within Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Edgbaston. You will be taught, by specialized and highly qualified staff Subjects covered include: Core units, Understanding garden features, plant selection and plannig, Understanding the choice, establishment and maintenance of garden plants and lawns Understanding the production of outdoor vegetables and fruit.
