The course will develop all four skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing). Level 1 will involve presentation skills and discussion skills in speaking, formal and informal writing and purpose and text features in reading. Skills will be assessed in three exams (1) speaking & listening, (2) writing paper and (3) reading paper. Some exams are externally assessed and some are internally set and marked. A pass in all exams is needed to successfully achieve the qualification.

Internally set exams can be taken flexibly when you are ready. For the academic year 2014/15 the course fee is £310. This can be paid in up to 5 instalments if preferred.
