Production Arts Make-up Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma

This one year course is designed to give you the skills and desire to fully equip you for the world of production make-up. The six units you will study cover Period make-up, Theatre Make-up, Special Effects, Fashion make-up and Hair for Performers. You will learn how to plan, design and budget for productions as well as all the make-up application skills you will need to be a successful make-up artist.

Entry requirements

The studio fee covers most of the basic materials and equipment you will use during the course. You will be expected to supply your own brushes and make-up kit. You must have a good selection of brushes. Your tutor will advise on suitable kit products. There will be some specialised products you will need to buy for specific units and your tutor will advise on this. A folder, notebook and basic stationary will be required at all lessons.
