During this course, you will learn to: Identify what is a disability and the different types Review the Equality Act 2010 and its impact Understand invisible as well as visible disabilities Practice effective communication skills and strategies Understand how to meet the needs of disabled peopleThis course will improve your acquisition of skills for personal satisfaction, training, employment or self employment and help support your participation in community volunteering, civic engagement and social integrations.This course is subsidised by Government funding so you should aim to attend the whole session. This course is for complete beginners so you do not need any previous experience in the subject. Other courses at the next level may be offered by Skills & Learning or other local providers.
