During this course, you will be given an introduction to basic watercolour painting techniques. Topics will include: Basic painting techniques with watercolour Learning how to use a wash effectively How to compose a picture for the best effect How to make paintings in a variety of subjectsThis course offers an avenue for creative pursuits, increasing your health and well being. The friendly classroom environment is a great place for social interaction and helping you meet new people. You do not have to have any experience in the subject but should be over 60 and living alone to join this course. After completing Step 1, you will have gained some basic knowledge to enable you to continue your learning at Step 2.This and other courses at the next level may be offered by Skills & Learning or other local providers.
