This is a structured course with demonstrations of techniques and individual coaching. You will learn to: Understand colour theory; Mix colours; Apply more advanced techniques using acrylics; Understand composition; Understand perspective. You will use real life subjects and photographs to learn to observe shapes and colours and apply acrylic to achieve wonderful effects. This course offers an avenue for creative pursuits, improving your health and wellbeing. The friendly classroom environment is a great place for social interaction and helping you meet new people. You will have completed a Step 1 course (or equivalent) and have a basic knowledge of the subject. After completing Step 2, you will have gained enough basic knowledge to enable you to continue learning at Step 3. Other courses at the next level may be offered by Skills & Learning or other local providers.
