Also, at least 75% of Year 13 students who completed in 2014 cohort went on to University to study in a related field. You will be taught by a range of experienced staff who all have different backgrounds. We are an incredibly hardworking Department and you are offered endless support to ensure you achieve the very best you can. We run drop in sessions and regularly run working lunches and coursework clinics. The courses are split up in the following way: • Pearson BTEC Level 3 Certificate (Equivalent to ½ an A-Level: 2 Units) • Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate (Equivalent to one A Level : 4 Units, 2 of which are assessed through an examination. • Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma (Equivalent to 1.5 A Levels: 6 Units, 2 of which are assessed through an examination. • Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Diploma (Equivalent to 2 A Levels: 8 units, 3 of which are external assessment)
