The study of English Literature is an enriching and inspirational experience which unlocks a wide range of thoughts and ideas and develops students’ understanding of how our literary heritage reflects our culture. Literary analysis also sharpens students’ critical awareness of how meanings are produced – a skill which is applicable in a wide range of contexts, including Higher Education and various career paths.
