PROPERTY MAINTENANCE (SASE COMPLIANT) WBL INTER APPRENTICESHIP

You will attend college one day a week as you work towards a BTEC diploma and a level 2NVQ. The rest of your timetable will be in the work place where you will build and utilise key skills required for the industry. Throughout the course you will explore the following: - Fixing and Repairing any Damaged or New Furnishings - Improving the Decoration - Repairing Brickwork - Replacing Doors and Locks - Tiling - Electrical Maintenance - Basic Plumbing - Maintenance Operations You will also have sessions on employment rights and responsibilities and will develop your personal learning and thinking skills. If you have not yet achieved a grade C (or above) in GCSE English and maths, you will be required to attend GCSE resit sessions (if you achieved grade D) or functional skills sessions (if you achieved grade E or below).
