You will work in both a practical environment and the classroom as you develop techinques and a broader understanding of motorcycle repair. Throughout the course you can expect to cover the following topics: - Motorcycle Chassis Systems - Motorcycle Engines - Motorcycle Transmission Systems - Motorcycle Electrical And Electronic Systems - Motorcycle Assembly - Motorcycle Construction And Routine Maintenance - Introduction to Low Carbon Technologies in the Automotive Industry - Automotive Foundation Skills You will also attend sessions on health and safety and you will explore the various materials and tools used within the industry. If you have not yet achieved a grade C (or above) in GCSE English and maths, you will be required to attend GCSE resit sessions (if you achieved grade D) or functional skills sessions (if you achieved grade E or below).
