ESOL 16-18 Access Study Programme

A modular programme consisting of English, Maths, ICT, Office Skills, Guidance, Citizenship and Science to prepare learners to access further education, training and employment opportunities. The course includes general studies, taster courses, projects, work experience and a programme of enrichment including sports, themed activities and educational visits. Guidance regarding suitable education, training and employment opportunities will be provided throughout the year. Learners will have regular individual and group tutorials with their personal tutors. Punctuality, regular attendance, completion of tasks, assignments and homework is essential. Learners are expected to take an active part in classes as individuals, in pairs and in groups.
