This course enables you to develop knowledge of subjects such as human development, health promotion, human anatomy and physiology, social science, professional practice, health and safety and communication and interpersonal skills. This course provides you with an opportunity to acquire the value of 90 credits in a one year period. This equates to a level 3, 90 credit diploma in Health and Social Care and is equivalent to two A levels at A* to C grade. You will have the opportunity to develop your employability skills alongside literacy, numeracy and/ or ICT whilst on the course. You will be expected to complete a period of placement in a variety of health or social care settings.
