You will study a combination of British and World History. The course has been designed to focus on events periods and ideas which have had a direct impact on the world in which we live today and to broaden your historical awareness and skills. The course reflects the new specification which all students will be studying from September 2015 and includes a new synoptic module on Tudor England in the 16th Century. You will study the following units Unit 1 Weimar and Nazi Germany 1918 1945. Unit 2 Tudor England 1485 1603. Unit 3 Independent Coursework The Struggle for African American Civil Rights 1865 1970.
