The aim of the Level 1 Award is to help individuals successfully prepare for and get a job, then to provide them with the tools to succeed and advance in their role. Learners also gain skills and knowledge to go on to further study, go on to a Traineeship or do an Apprenticeship. This qualification can be delivered as part of APM's Sector Routeway programme which is where learners undertake FS in English & Maths as well as a sector specific employability qualification. If part of a Traineeship then work placements will also be available.
