Students on this course are generally school leavers aged 16 - 18 and might need a supported course for a number of reasons. This may be a specific learning difficulty or for a student who might not have achieved their potential at GSCE and needs a stepping stone for a higher level course. You may not have decided upon the subjects that you would like to learn so you may choose a vocational option. You will work on individual goals which may include working as part of a team, study skills and confidence building. You will also work on practical skills such as catering, horticulture, woodwork & painting and decorating. You will have specific sessions to help you improve your Functional skills maths and English.
