Level 1 Engineering and Technology Certificate

This course is designed for people who would like to gain an apprenticeship in the engineering industry. The course combines practical training with some basic engineering theory. The practical work is carried out in our own training workshop using industry standard equipment, and matches the requirements of ‘off the job’ training for an engineering apprenticeship. Trainees are in a strong position when seeking an apprenticeship due to our links with industry in Swindon and the surrounding area. The course covers the following introduction units; Introduction to Working in Engineering, Introduction to Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance, Introduction to Basic Maths and Science used in Engineering, Introduction to Electronics, Introduction to Machining Engineering Materials
