The course will also prepare you for working with athletes and individuals in the fitness industry. The course will also include Level 2 outdoor and fitness industry. Students are expected to undertake and complete various outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hill walking, overnight camps, kayaking and climbing, and expected level of competence and attendance is needed to pass these elements. Some financial cost may be incurred for some basic equipment such as walking boots. Areas of Study Practical sports study, physiology, leading land and water based adventure activities, outdoor adventure equipment and outdoor expeditions. Work Placements This is an integral part of the course and will reflect your own personal interests. Method of Assessment Various forms of written and practical assessment.
