The course requires you to do some voluntary work in a care facility. The Alliance will find this placement for you. The qualification aims to build on learners’ knowledge and awareness of dementia, and teach the skills required for those working in social care settings. Learners will develop an understanding and awareness of the causes and symptoms of dementia.
