This is a thought-provoking course designed to develop a critical understanding of the largest conflict in human history. The course will address the main campaigns of the war using both inter-active lecture/discussion and site visits to local museums. Throughout a questioning approach is used to encourage delegates to adopt their own critical conclusions on this fascinating period of history. Please note: One of the visits includes a site which has no disabled access. Course starts at 9.30am on Monday 20th July, bed and breakfast available Sunday 19th July, #36 single en suite.
