The Cinema Of John Huston

The son of celebrated actor Walter Huston, John Huston began his early film career as a screen writer. His brilliant cinematic debut in 1941, a remake of Dashiell Hammett's The Maltese Falcon, began a directorial career lasting 46 years. The course will examine Huston's remarkable career and consider his film legacy. A pre course brochure with details and criticism of the course films will be produced and sent with learner joining instructions.
