This course is suitable for beginners (with sound basic knowledge of the instrument and ability to read music) as well as more experienced players. It will cover all main aspects of finger-style banjo playing with particular regard to interpretation, technical development, fingering, sight reading, practice methods and ensemble playing. Elias Sibley is a graduate of the Royal College of Music where he studied classical guitar. He is a highly respected finger-style banjoist, having studied the instrument from the age of 10 and makes regular guest appearances at concerts and festivals. Elias has tutored many banjo workshops and courses for the British BMG Federation.
