4CMC6935A - Latin Beginners The aim of the course is to enable learners to recognise the influence of Latin on our language and to make connections between Latin words and English words. Learners will look at Latin phrases in everyday use and, with a few grammatical rules and basic vocabulary, will be able to translate some simple Latin phrases into English. There are no specific entry requirements for this course
