First year post-16 students who choose the performing arts pathway will work towards a BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma studying dance, drama and vocals. It is a 60-credit qualification that is broadly equivalent to one GCE A Level. Dependent on the grade you receive you will gain between 80-140 UCAS points. The BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma offers an engaging programme for those who are clear about the area of employment that they wish to enter. First year students will be certificated with the qualification in the summer of their first year of post-16.
