Follow the instructions of a conductor and change with the rhythm and start and stop on command. To be the conductor and give clear visual commands. To participate in group and individual music making, to enter the sound and leave following instruction play loudly and softly, change the pace of the beat to command. To explore self-expression through music. Play a short solo performance on the drums. Learn rhythm and co-ordination. To play rhythms in time with the other members of the class, to follow cues to contribute to the texture of the music produced by the class.
