This course is a 35 week course and part of a discrete curriculum for Adults with Learning Difficulties. On this course you will further develop literacy and numeracy skills. You will learn how to identify local, national and international news stories, and then discuss, write about or express your views about the issues through drawing, cutting and pasting pictures. Learn about historical news events, their significance at the time and how they affect us today. You will produce a radio or video programme to demonstrate discussion skills and new range of knowledge.
