Children & young people's workforce - City & Guilds level 2 certificate

Are you dreaming of working with children within the Early Years Sector? The Children and Young People's Workforce level 2 course might be the way to achieve this dream. On this 33 week course which will give you a nationally recognised qualification, you will develop and maintain professional skills and knowledge relating to the role of an early years practitioner. You will learn how to contribute to pupils' learning and behaviour management and support children with a range of needs. You will understand your role in safeguarding children, learn about child's development and how to support it to ensure children reach their full potential and get ready for school. You will study in a stimulating atmosphere with the guidance of an experienced tutor, as well as gain some hands-on experience from attending a placement. This course is subject to a pre-course assessment (PCA) and requires booking an appointment prior to enrolment. Please note that you will be a subject to a DBS check to be able to undertake a placement while studying this qualification.
