This 2 year course is designed for people who are either working in or looking to work in the music industry, specialising in music performance, music business and also includes elements of music technology. In the first year students will learn the basis of: ,Performing as a solo musician ,Working and develo ping as a musical ensemble ,Marketing and promotion in the music industry ,Music performance techniques During the second year of the course students will build on and extend those skills to include:- ,Pop music in practice ,Concert production and staging ,Composing music ,Music events management Students will also be able to participate in running the of the College radio station and record label where they can release their own music through major online retailers such as iTunes
