Research Methods for Sport and Exercise Sciences 5. Research Investigation for Sport and Exercise Sciences 6. Research Investigation for Sport and Exercise Sciences 7. Sports Biometrics 8. Exercise, Health and Lifestyle 9. Fitness Testing for Sport and Exercise Sciences 10. Fitness Training Programme 11. Sports Nutrition 12. Sports Injuries 13. Sports Coaching 14. Practical Team Sports 15. Applied Sports and Exercise Psychology 16. Applied Sport and Exercise Physiology 17. Work Experience in Sport 18. Outdoor and Adventurous Expeditions This is an academic two year course that will provide students with the working knowledge of a variety of sporting disciplines and inform them of the employment opportunities available. This course is of particular interest to students wishing to pursue a career in coaching, teaching, sports scientist, physiotherapist, midwifery, sports rehabilitation, forensics science and prosthetics. Students could also achieve additional qualifications in First Aid, coaching awards, community leadership as well as opportunities to enhance their own CV with volunteer programmes. The Extended Diploma is also excellent preparation for those who wish to pursue higher education in a wide range of disciplines.
