This means demand for skilled staff will remain high and people with good skills can command good salaries The AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting includes: Bookkeeping Transactions Bookkeeping Controls Elements of Costing Using Accounts Software Work effectively in Finance The AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting includes: Advanced Bookkeeping Final Accounts Preparation Management Accounting (Costing) Indirect Tax Ethics for Accountants Spreadsheet for Accounting Students will also be enrolled whilst in Year 1 on the Institute of Financial Services Course Level 3 Certificate. This is a nationally recognised qualification for the Financial Services sector. Unit 1: Financial Capability for the Immediate and Short Term (FCIS) (Year 1) Unit 2: Financial Capability for the Medium and Long Term (FCML) (Year 1) On completion of units 1 & 2 students can achieve UCAS points. Students will also undertake regular session sin emplopyability skills. As this is a technical course all students will be required to undertake work experience.
