The aim of this course is to give learners the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised level 2 vocationally specific qualification. This will enable learners to plan for their own business/social enterprise to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal skills and attitude for working life (either within self-employment or employment). This course uses guest speakers/seminars, competitions, visits and trips and develops learner's employability skills. This course provides a progression to the Level 3 Diploma in Enterprise & Entrepreneurship. Units of study will include: - The entrepreneurial mindset - Creating a vision for your business plan - Preparing and pitching a business plan - The business environment - Researching your market - The marketing plan - Financial modelling and forecasting - Leadership & teamwork Young Enterprise programme is included with this course.
