This course is designed to develop your understanding of the theory underpinning personal training, including anatomy and physiology, principles of exercise and fitness, how to support clients, health and safety, and the principles of nutrition. You will also develop the knowledge and skills needed to plan, design, manage, adapt, deliver and evaluate personal training sessions. As part of the qualification you will produce a progressive training programme for an individual that takes into account short, medium and long term goals. The qualification is approved by the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs). Upon successful completion of this qualification you will be eligible to register with REPs as a Level 3 Personal Trainer.
