You'll learn the skills needed to plan curriculum, and care for and educate young children 0-7yrs. You will also develop essential skills ready for employment with valuable information and guidance to prepare learners for the process of job applications. You will also benefit from an additional Creative Crafts Programme, where skills in preparing and delivering exciting, creative activities for children will be explored. You can look forward to participating in two full days of work placements in our on-site nursery or with another local childcare provider allocated by the work placement officer. This Study Programme will include English and Maths at an appropriate level, and it will support the development of skills towards employability and suitability to progress onto the next level of study.
