The Level 1 Diploma in Painting & Decorating is an introductory course that will equip students with the basic practical skills and knowledge needed to start work in the industry. The one year, full time course comprises of theory work and practical sessions in the painting and decorating workshop in the College's state-of-the-art Construction Skill Centre. The course will cover a number of differing units including: Health, safety and welfare in construction. This is an ideal course for those who work well in a team, enjoy working with their hands and is looking to take their first steps in a career in Painting & Decordating. Maths and English will be at the core of your studies, both of which are essential if you wish to pursue a career in the industry.
