The course is for learners who wish to develop futher their British Sign Language skills at an intermediate level to enhance communication with Deaf people through a functional communication approach in BSL using a variety of activities resembling real life situations and experiences. This is an examination based course which will lead to a fulll level 2 qualification. In addition to the time in class learners will be required to practise their skills for a further 50 hours outside the course preferably in a real life setting. In addition to the course dates an extra 4 sessions are to be arranged and confirmed by the tutor.
