Pre-Access is a level 2 programme for learners wishing to progress onto the Access to HE Diploma. The Pre-Access course is specifically designed for students who do not yet have a full level 2 qualification or GCSE English grade A-C. If university is your goal and you do not yet meet the entry requirement for the Access to HE Diploma, then Pre-Access is the course for you. The Pre-Access course will introduce learners to academic reading and subjects which will be delivered on the level 3 course. It will provide learners with a foundation in terms of knowledge, skills and understanding in a range of subjects including psychology, sociology, diet & nutrition plus an extended project. GCSE English and GCSE/Functional Skills maths are also an integral part of the course. This course will provide an excellent grounding in academic writing, as well as further enhancing your study skills.
