Students doing AS Further Maths experience all three application units in addition to core maths, giving a broad experience of how maths is used. As students will be keen mathematicians there is also some scope for looking a little beyond the specification. A2 Further Maths offers a choice of modules enabling you to tailor your modules to suit your strengths and future higher education needs. This is a challenging course that requires both mathematical ability and good study skills. The nature of the subject makes it important to keep on top of your work in order to access future material.
