Extended Project - Chemistry/Medicine

UPDATED 20160623 12:24:16

Chemistry - the Extended Project gives you something you have researched for yourself and which you have become an expert in. We really value its ability to develop independent planning, research and analysis skills and so do Russell Group universities including Southampton, which now makes reduced offers for places on all its Humanities and Social Science degree courses to successful candidates predicted an A or A* in their Extended Project. Bristol and Newcastle are among other leading universities which also consider the Extended Project in their offers. It's equivalent to half an A Level and attracts the same number of UCAS points. It's an option available to all students in their second year of A Levels at Barton Peveril. You will be supported by a teacher throughout your project, the outcome of which could include an extended piece of writing or a report on an investigation or experiment.
