Sociology - A2

UPDATED 20160623 12:24:13

Students in their second year of the course will study Beliefs in Society and Crime and Deviance with Theory and Methods. Sociology is a popular and academically demanding subject which requires a wide range of skills. Students enjoy the variety of activities in lessons and the frequent opportunities to take part in class discussions and engage in debates about contemporary issues. As the course is assessed through examinations, essay writing will be an integral feature of your studies. The fact that Sociology is such a broad-based discipline makes it a good subject choice for many different career paths involving interaction with people, from the police force to teaching, social work, nursing and human resources.
