You will attend practical and theory based sessions aimed at building your understanding of the industry. You will cover the following topics: - Carrying out basic Woodworking Joints - Using Hand and Portable Power Tools - Building Methods and Construction Technology - Carrying out basic Maintenance - Communication with others - Quantities - Health and Safety If you have not yet achieved a grade C (or above) in GCSE English and maths, you will be required to attend GCSE resit sessions (if you achieved grade D) or functional skills sessions (if you achieved grade E or below).
