This course provides the basic skills and knowledge required for employment as a bricklayer. You will work in a practical environment to develop your competency in the following techniques: - Brick and Block Walling - Arch Work - Pointing and Setting Out of Buildings You will also be shown how to safely use the tools and equipment associated with this trade. If you have not yet achieved a grade C (or above) in GCSE English and maths, you will be required to attend GCSE resit sessions (if you achieved grade D) or functional skills sessions (if you achieved grade E or below).
