Throughout the course you will study and demonstrate to an appointed assessor that you have developed the relevant skills and knowledge required for a deeper understanding of the following areas within your role: - Child Development - Safeguarding the Welfare of Children - Health and Safety - Behaviour - Relationships - Equality, Diversity and Inclusion You will also study units on assessment for learning, personal development, schools as organisations and support learning activities. If you have not yet achieved a grade C (or above) in GCSE English and maths, you will be required to attend GCSE resit sessions (if you achieved grade D) or functional skills sessions (if you achieved grade E or below).
